CFS Bushwalk of May 2023

Bushwalk

Two-Creek Track

21 May 2023
10:00 AM

2 hr 30 Minutes

A medium walk (with some steep climb) on this well-signed post Two-Creek Track. We will check out a historical site related to WWI. The track ‘flows’ along Gordon and Moores creeks with interesting flora and fauna. Test your knowledge for those who attended last month’s Nature Walk. We may have a picnic at Echo Point Park. This walk crosses a section of Garigal National Park. There are some great water views, sandstone caves. We can take the bus back to Chatswood after the walk.

Meeting point: Lindfield Train Station (near the Optometrist at the corner of Lindfield Ave and Tryon Rd)

Time: 10 am

Length: 6.1m one way.
Elevation: 231 m
Time: 2 hr 30 min. (excluding lunch)

Suggestions for lunch: Picnic at Echo Point Park
Cafes/Restaurants at Chatswood.

This group will leave at 10:05 am (the latest). If you are late, follow the map to catch-up with the group to the start of the track. Google Map from Lindfield Train Station to the start of this track (Slade Ave)

I enjoy being close to Nature and exploring the flora and fauna on my path. I have been a bushwalk leader with the Sydney Bushwalks and Getaways Meetup Group for a little while until COVID-19 hit Sydney. I’m revisiting the bush with CFS members and our Circle of Friends.
