Daffodil Day this year is Thurs 25th August. According to The FlowerExpert.com, Daffodils flowers, in many varieties and sizes, are one of the first flowers to appear in the spring months. As soon as the ground has thawed (in snowing areas), they tend to be plentiful. Daffodils also symbolise ‘Hope and Friendship’. Cancer Council launches ‘Daffodil Day’ to raise awareness for those affected by cancer and their families. Daffodil represents HOPE!
Treat yourself and support someone affected by cancer in this pop-up shop hosted by the Community Flower Studio, a youth-focus charity and a not-for-profit social enterprise that sells floral arrangements, indoor plants and art pieces. Net proceeds will help young people find meaningful employment. Every paid customer will receive a ‘Petal-it-Forward’ Daffodil bouquet to give to someone affected by cancer.
