$10 registration fee for ANY young people aged 14 – 25 yr;
$38 for anyone over 25 yr to cover raw materials, CFS members enjoy $10 discount.

What will be covered?
- A brief discussion on the 8 elements of design.
- The safe handling of resin mixtures to achieve maximum results.
- How to practise ‘mindfulness’ during the resin art creation process?
- A brief discussion on the workshop experience and how creativity can help maintain our mental wellbeing.
Who will be facilitating this workshop?
Miss Thea Y., a member of the CFS Youth Action Group, is passionate about creative arts. She took part in the pilot workshops to co-design this workshop.
Andrew G., a Year 9 student who is keen to learn new skills and share with others. He took part in the pilot workshops to co-design this workshop. Andrew volunteers his time for CFS as part of his Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
Miss Laya P., a member of the CFS Youth Action Group, is passionate about both outdoor and indoor activities. Her energy will inspire other young people.
Dr Bibiana Chan is a Sydney based florist, mixed-media artist and public mental health researcher. She graduated from her PhD from the Faculty of Medicine, UNSW in 2007. She combines her passion for flowers, arts with her mental health advocacy. Creative activities are associated with mental wellbeing. Bibiana is keen to promote a community spirit where people in the neighbourhood come together to create arts, be it a bouquet, a necklace or a piece of artwork! She founded the Community Flower Studio (CFS) with some fellow researchers and good friends in Sept 2019.
