ANZAC Day – Flat Rock Gully Track It is a medium walk with some deep descends and a steep climb at the end. The scenery along the track is fabulous! Some interesting sites are Henry Lawson Cave, Aboriginal Painting, best Meditation spot in town, Long Gully Bridge (Northbridge) and the Walter Burley Griffin Incinerator (now a Cafe & Gallery). Create a group sculpture with natural materials picked up along the track.
Length: 5 km one way.
Time: 2 hr 30 min. (including 30 min for photo and creative stops)

Two-Creek Track A medium walk (with some steep climb) on this well-signed post Two-Creek. We will check out a historical site related to WWI. The track ‘flows’ along Gordon and Moores creeks with interesting flora and fauna. Test your knowledge for those who attended last month’s Nature Walk. We may have a picnic at Echo Point Park. This walk crosses a section of Garigal National Park. There are some great water views, sandstone caves.
We can take the bus back to Chatswood after the walk.
Length: 6.1m one way.
Elevation: 231 m
Time: 2 hr. 30 min. (excluding lunch)

Rail2River Walk through Ferndale ParkHidden behind suburban streets, Ferndale Park provides a
bush backyard for local residents. The walk along the
fern filled Swaines Creek reveals a quieter, more serene and peaceful part of Chatswood.
Track length: Approximately a 4 km return trip.
Track grade: Easy to medium – on unsealed bush tracks with
steep steps in sections. Sturdy shoes are required.

Bay Walk (Bay Run) in Drummoyne This track will cover Iron Cove, Henley Marine Drive, Drummoyne, Rodd Point and Five Dock. Just follow the wide footpath around the mangrove-lined foreshores of Iron Cove. Along the way, indulge in the variety of splendid sceneries from city landscapes to luscious greenery. Take time to read the interpretive signs that provide interesting facts about the types of flora and fauna in the surrounding bay.

Bradley Head to Cliffton Gardens Sydney Coastal WalkThis coastal path is part of the Sydney Harbour National Park with very scenic view of the beautiful harbour. At Bradley Head, you can see the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the then Centrepoint Tower (Westfield Tower) – Sydney’s most famous icons – in all their glory. Watch the boats glide by from Bradleys Head – Booraghee Amphitheatre Come face-to-face with wildlife and ancient trees. There are picnic tables at Cliffton Gardens for a relaxing morning tea.
