A. Floral Arrangements

Super relaxing! I find it hard to follow specific ‘rules’ and almost always end up somewhat deviating. I kind of did my own thing. My bouquet may be deviates from traditional floristry, but I just trusted my instincts. Mine is unbalanced and asymmetrical, but if you look closely, you can see a cool wave like shape. Kind of like Hokusai’s wave (but not really).
Curator’s notes: the desire to ‘be different’ is very strong in this arrangement, as expressed in the asymmetrical design. The warm yellow-orange palette made the bouquet very welcoming despite being a non-traditional presentation. Somehow, in the human psyche, one wants to be recognised by their unique personality and quality. Creative art definitely can provide the best avenue to do so!
